ECSEF is going to Kazan
Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan in Russia, will be hosting the 45th WorldSkills Competition in August. ECSEF members will participate the event to promote their training sessions.

WoldSkills Electronics teams from , Brazil, Russia, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Finland were training together at KSAO (Kouvola Region Vocational College) in June. They were practising the same kind of test projects as expected in the next World Skills competition at Kazan.
The members of Educational Cluster of South-East Finland have been operating as an informal network since 2014. The operation of the cluster has been led by an executive group consisting of cluster members representatives. In 2018 the members organized a strategy meeting inviting other organizations interested in educational export from Kymenlaakso region to join in. During the strategy meeting the participants decided to establish an association.
Kouvola Adult Education Center started a new course for motorsport mechanics in January 2019. Working life training period will start in May. Mr Pasi Kahelin from Education Center tells that the training will take place in Russia Formula 4 and in Finland Formula 4 series. In Russia there will be five competitions in Nijnyj Novrogod, Moscow Raceway, Moscow ADM Raceway, Smolensk and Sochi. Students will take care of Formula 4 cars of the drivers of the SMP Racing.
Training has been marketed also in Russia, but this year there are no Russian students participating in the training.
International Industrial Forum was arranged in Cherepovets 12-13.12. 2018. The forum was held in the University of Cherepovets. Participants were from the university, vocational schools and local companies. http://agr-city.ru/promforum/
Forum had two parts and several interesting presentations and discussions.
During the Kotka days in St Petersburg, South Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) organized a cooperation seminar Learning Unlimited for its partners in the Finland House. There were representatives from Xamk and from five different partner universities in St. Petersburg. The aim of the seminar was to introduce eLearning as a learning method when students are far away or otherwise prevented from coming to the classroom. (more…)
Kouvola Adult Education Center (Global Education Services Taitaja – GEST) will start a new course for motorsport mechanics in January 2019. Studies include basic and advanced studies as well as working life training period and advanced studies.
During the training planning process Kouvola Adult Education Center has had an honour to co-operate with the best experts in the field of motor sports mechanics, and based on that knowledge we have tailored the most extraordinary education program. Finland was chosen as special guest country in the gastronomy festival I Paris 21.-23.9. In the festival Finnish companies will offer to French audience ecological and nature products. Ingredients will come directly from the forests, lakes and fields of Finland. During the weekend Finns will prepare e.g. fish soup, risotto made of Finnish grain, berries from the forests and rye chips. Participation of Finland is arranged in cooperation by ProAgria and Action Finland! (more…)
